So I guess this answers the question if Brayden and Brooklyn look alike. Both pics were taken around 3 months. We couldn't believe how much they really look alike.

On the way back to Idaho, Ryon & Jana stopped at Temple Square to see the lights. So we met up with them and also my parents. We had a wonderful time. The weather was surprisingly not too cold, eventhough the kids and I were dressed to go snowmobiling. (We shed quite a few layers throughout the evening.) It was fun to see all the lights and it got us in the Christmas spirit. We are so glad you guys came down for the weekend. We had a lot of fun and are missing you already. Hopefully we'll see you again for Christmas!

I got out our door jumper and Brayden immediately had to try it out. He is still under the weight limit, so I let him enjoy. He loved it and couldn't stop running, letting it pull him back, and laughing. When he was finally done, we put Brooklyn in it and she also loved it. We had to put a towel around her to help her sit up, but she had a blast.

The last picture is how I found Brooklyn while playing on her mat. Somehow she kicked it over and it collapsed on her. She just kept smiling and cooing like nothing was wrong. Silly girl!

We spent Thanksgiving at my parents house with my family this year. Ryon and Jana came down with their 3 kids (4th on the way). We missed the rest of the family - Celeste & Nate and Rachelle & Sean. We had a wonderful turkey dinner in the afternoon, then spent the rest of the day playing games and hanging out. It was so much for for Brayden to be with his cousins. He still adores Hannah and loved playing Legos with Carson and Harrison. We are excited that Brooklyn has her cousin Paige to play with when she gets a little older. Thanks for a great day mom and dad!

I love taking pictures in all the fun positions Brayden and Brooklyn fall asleep in. The 2nd and 3rd pictures were taken within minutes of each other. I couldn't believe they were sleeping in the same position at the same time. Did you notice all the frog legs? That seems to be a comomon occurance in our house. Not sure why...

I have heard a lot about the Bumbo chair and have always wanted to get one. My friend Kim let me borrow hers and I love it already! Brooklyn loves sitting in it. I never knew babies this young could sit in it, but she does! Brayden has also liked sitting in it.

Tonight Josh played basketball so I put both kids to bed. Since they go to bed at the same time, I turned on Brayden's show for a few minutes while I put Brooklyn to bed. He started out in the Bumbo chair. Next time I checked on him he was half way out of it. Then when I went to get him to put him to bed he was out of the chair and laying on the floor. He is such a cutie!!!

While doing my photo book through snapfish, I realized we don't have any great pictures of our little family. I really wanted to put one in the photo book I am sending to Leon, so on Brayden's birthday we took a bunch of pictures. It wasn't planned, so I am lucky that we all looked nice and the kids had on clean clothes. I wasn't too optimistic since it is hard to get Brayden to sit still for pictures, but one of the twelve we took turned out great. I'm not sure if we'll get a better picture, so it might be the one we use on our Christmas card. We'll see!

Yesterday was Brayden's 2nd B-day. Has it been two years already?! We had a great day. I had some stuff planned in the morning, but both kids woke up with colds so we stayed home and played instead. I decided to let Brayden decide everything. I was very grateful that when I asked what he wanted for breakfast he wanted oatmeal. I was afraid he'd ask for candy. He got really messy, so I then asked if he wanted a shower or a tub. He wanted a tub, but in the sink. So he got to play in the sink for 20 minutes and loved it. We did some laundry and I let him play in it while it was still hot and again he loved it. After naps we waited for Josh to get home and spent the evening at the Ericson's. We ate a yummy dinner with Josh's family and grandparents. Then Brayden got to open his presents. We got him a bike, clothes, and some books. He got more toys from the Ericson's and a travel b-ball hoop from my parents. He loved all of it! Kay made a great cake and Brayden learned how to blow out candles. He had so much fun we kept lighting the candles so he could do it again and again. After cake and ice cream we set up the hoop and he shot baskets the rest of the night. We love you Brayden. You are such a joy in our life and in the lives of those around you. We love how sweet you are and your cute personality. Thank you for being such a great son and brother.

My favorite time of everyday are "morning smiles." I started with Brayden when he was little and we still do it. When he wakes up in the morning or after a nap he still gives me a huge smile and we giggle and hug while saying "morning smiles!!!" I know...it's cheezy. But it has become so fun for us, and it helps him be happier when he wakes up. Now with Brooklyn it has become my favorite time of day with her. She giggles and smiles with me when she wakes up. Now Brayden loves to help me wake her up and he too will smile, laugh, and giggle with her. Again I know it's cheezy, but we love it!

On Friday we watched my friend's little boys Garrett. Brayden and Garrett get along very well, eventhough Garrett is one year older than Brayden. They are both very sweet and sensitive so they play well and have a lot of fun. They fed the fish, played with cars, crawled around, shot hoops, and played with the Legos we haven't played with for quite some time. I discovered that Brayden finally likes to play with them! We have built countless towers the past two days. Yeah! Something to play with other than balls!!! That is a major breakthrough in our house.
