Well, dad and I had a whole Saturday to hang around the house and clean. So of course we decided to bag that and to go to the Lehi Chuck wagon Breakfast and then to the parade. As I curled my hair, work called and said my employee didn't show up for work. So I had to jump in my uniform and dash off to work. Bummer. Dad did drive over to the parade for an hour.
Anyway, after work, we decided to go to dinner. After many suggestions, we decided to go to........The Mayan! So we went there, and enjoyed good food (not great), and two divers show. Still love the atmosphere, need to work on the food a little more, although it was as good as most regular mexican restaurants. My favorite part was remembering Rachelle worked there as a monkey for a summer. Wish I could find those pictures!

Memorial Day Visit
Dad and Mom went to visit Rexburg over the holiday weekend. Justin and Ali and Paige drove up on Friday nite, and we drove up early Saturday morning. We had so much fun, we played Frisbee golf in their back yard, which was big enough for 6 holes. Everyone went canoeing, (except mom who hung out with Simon). Then back to Ryon's house for delicious "Restaurant quality steaks". Grandpa loved playing on the tramp with Carson and Harry. Nacho is a great dog, and also seemed to enjoy the evening. On Sunday, we all had a very relaxing morning, and especially enjoyed sausages and egg McMuffins a-la Jana. Then off to church, and back to the house for Sunday dinner of smoked pork loin, rice and raspberry-huckleberry jam on rolls. We drove home on Sunday night, and arrived home safely by 10:30pm.
Observations:
Rexburg is a long, long way to drive, but it was worth it!
Ryon is a great outdoor cook, the meats were "restaurant quality". And your pictures of your family on the wall are amazing.
Jana was a gracious hostess, thank you for everything you did to make us feel welcome.
Hannah, thank you for the special drawing of a sheep for Grandpa, and a unicorn for Grandma.
Carson, you are so fun, thanks for talking to Grandma and Grandpa.
Harry, congratulations on learning a back flip on the tramp while we were there.
Simon, we loved seeing you, and holding you, and will be looking forward to the blessing day in July.
Justin, Ali, and Paige, Thanks for coming, it was wonderful to hang out with you guys, too!
I actually took my camera, but the batteries were dead, so I hope somebody else took pictures!
Thanks again,
Mom and Dad
Dad's travels
Dad had a meeting on Thursday morning in Gillette, Wyoming. So he left on Wednesday about 11:30am. Flew to Denver for layover, then on to Gillette where he landed at 8:00pm, then a taxi ride to the local Wendy's for dinner then to the model home where he arrived about 9:00pm. Long day. His meeting went fine, one hour. then he got word that Denver got slammed with snow and his flight was canceled. So he had to stay another night. His next flight was canceled, and he finally switched airlines and got home at 4:00pm on Friday. Yea! He would have been really mad about the delay, cause he packed lite and didn't take any work to do, or even his computer. But he is excited to say that he is now 3/4 of the way through reading his second book since high School. (Not church related). Angels and Demons was a Christmas present and mom had him slip it in his briefcase at the last moment. So while he might have been stuck in Wyoming, in airports, etc. his journey has included Rome, the Vatican, etc. It has been a good break for him.

Merry Christmas from Dad and Mom Brewer
We pray for each and every one of you to have a healthy and happy and safe (and warm) Christmas!
St. George Vacation
Dad and I went to St. George for the week before Christmas.
Dad worked every morning on the phone, then Christmas shopping until we got hungry, then dinner, then back to the condo. As you can see, the weather was snowing, and never got above 37 degrees. The pool was down for maintenance, even if we wanted to swim. Oh, well, next year we will go somewhere warm!
Clown Convention
I'm off to clown convention. Its Saturday morning and we are driving to Laughlin, Nevada. Back next Friday. I'll have my phone, and will check the blog, so I won't be too out of touch. Love to All!
